Catalogue & inventory
Products, variants, categories, strain and plant types, with POS categories mapped to Poof’s own and stock tracked per store.

Case study · Laravel API & Vue admin
The Laravel API and Vue admin panel I built for Poof, a Canadian marketplace app where customers find nearby licensed dispensaries, order for delivery or pickup, and stores stay in sync with their point-of-sale systems.
Start a projectIn 2022 I built Poof’s backend with Laravel 8 and MySQL: a REST API for the mobile app with sign-up by SMS one-time password, addresses, dispensaries near the user by distance, products, cart, orders and referral credits; integrations with the Greenline and Cova point-of-sale systems; and a Vue admin panel where Poof and each dispensary manage their stores, catalogue, inventory, customers and orders.

Key features
Laravel 8 with Passport API tokens, MySQL, a Vue 2 admin with roles and permissions (Poof admin, dispensary admin and sub-admin), Plivo and Twilio SMS, and Firebase push notifications. Screenshots show the admin with anonymised data.
Products, variants, categories, strain and plant types, with POS categories mapped to Poof’s own and stock tracked per store.

Each dispensary links its point-of-sale account. Products sync from Greenline every minute, webhooks keep stock and payments current, and orders are placed back in the store’s POS.

Customers earn credits through referral codes and spend them at checkout; admins add credits and see every store’s credit transactions.
